The Renaissance Singers is a registered charity and is funded through member subscriptions and ticket sales. We also benefit enormously from the generosity of our Friends and, for occasional special projects, grant-giving organisations.

Friends Scheme

Membership of the Friends of the Renaissance Singers is an opportunity for audience members to feel more involved in the choir and to give their support to the choir's work.

Friends who take full advantage of the scheme’s benefits can make a saving of up to £40 over the year. 

Each Friend is entitled to:

•Advance information about all Renaissance Singers’ performances

•One ticket to all Renaissance Singers’ London concerts (transferable if you cannot attend)

•A guaranteed place at all Renaissance Singers Open Workshops, at the special price of £8

•Entry to a dedicated Friends Event towards the end of the season

•Invitations to occasional day trips to see the choir perform outside London (additional costs may apply)

Membership of the Friends for the 2009-10 season will cost £50 (Concessions £44), giving a saving of up to £40 over the year.

Donations

If you would like to make a donation to support the choir please do get in touch. Our regular programme is funded primarily through member subscriptions and ticket sales, but we always appreciate additional support which means we plan special projects, such as collaborations with instrumental groups and professional soloists, purchase equipment and provide places for students.

For example,

£50 will purchase 5 new concert folders

£100 will purchase a new set of music

£350 will pay for a professional instrumentalist or soloist to join us for a special concert
