Not everyone can commit to a regular choir and not many choirs
provide the opportunity to sing music from the Renaissance period
under the guidance of expert tutors. The Renaissance Singers’ Open
Workshops provide a wonderful opportunity to come and sing
renaissance music in an informal atmosphere. The sessions are
varied and wide-ranging. Some explore new repertoire and others
deal with aspects of vocal technique and musicianship.
Workshops last from 7.00pm to
9.15 pm. The venue is often the Dutch Church, Austin Friars,
in the City of London (just off Old Broad Street, near the Bank
of England). The cost of each workshop is £10.
